When my Dad passed recently, Mum had not made any particular choice about a funeral provider and asked me to find someone for her. It was 10pm at night, Dad had just died quietly at home in his own bed at Bribie and I needed to find someone to help us. I looked online and found Horizons…..surely guided by a guardian angel, because we could not have been placed into safer hands. Every aspect of Dad’s funeral planning was handled professionally but also with the utmost care and sensitivity. Thank you, Ian and Carol….for ensuring that my Dad’s farewell was a fitting tribute to a life well lived.

Recently my brother unexpectedly passed away. We were very close, having shared a home for many years in our retirement from our professions. In seeking a funeral group to help with a celebration of my brother’s life, and his cremation, my cousin and I visited 3 groups including HORIZON FUNERALS.
We chose HORIZON, and I unreservedly recommend using the services of this caring Funeral director.
From the initial contact, and through the planning stages, HORIZON staff were understanding, listened to my requests, planned co-jointly with the Minister of my local church, and even made a touching suggestion to include at the conclusion of the service.
Throughout the church service, their presence and those of the technical team, as the service was live streamed, were courteous, friendly, respectful and unobtrusive. Several attendees told me how professional and caring they were. Their follow-up services were also excellent, and they attended promptly to my queries.
