Gateway funerals With a special mention to staff member Simon were incredibly professional courteous sympathetic and wonderful to deal with during one of the worst times of our lives. All the staff and Simon in particular could not have been more helpful The funeral day went exceptionally well considering the COVID-19 restrictions making their job even more difficult for them. Highly recommend this company they have all the professionalism of all of the big four funeral directors without the big for funeral directors prices.
i cant recommend Robert Nelson and Celebrant Olivia Mulvany enough,they were very caring ,compassionate and professional.They made my sons funeral an event to remember.Thank you Robert and Olivia.

Robert and Alex (the celebrant Robert chose for us based on our preferences) were both fantastic! As well as being highly professional and doing everything you could possibly ask for, they made a real point of listening to what we wanted to make Mum’s funeral a joyous celebration of her 96 years of life. They were both extremely flexible, honest in their advice, reachable often and at all times, and helpful in every way. Planning the funeral, in the space of just a few days, was a real team effort with my daughter, son-in-law and Robert and Alex. At all times we felt that, although we had no experience of funerals, we had heaps of choices and our wishes were top priority.
We had a small service (20 people) at the Royal Brighton Yacht Club with a spectacular view of the beach that Mum loved so much. The order of service booklet was amazing, as was the photographic reflection. The burial afterwards was brief but dignified. We will always remember the funeral with love. The price was good too.
