    1. Rita Melone

Our father John Borg past away near a month ago, Amy at Thomastown was amazing, prompt and really created what we wanted even though we had a budget to work with . We even ask for a maltese celebrate and she new one.
And then hand delivered dad’s Ashes to mum as she only lived around the corner. Nothing was to much .
      Huge thank you 🥰

    2. Sam Rye

      Dearest Carly & team,

I want to thank you all for everything you did to care for my father after his sudden and unexpected passing. We were so thankful for how you handled us gently and respectfully at a difficult time, but more than anything else – made everything simple in a time we were feeling overwhelmed. We were so thankful to work with Jacqui as a celebrant, who listened deeply to us talk about my father, and turned it into a beautiful eulogy. Also thanks to your team who handled our photo montage and music selection for efficiency and effectiveness, and the gentle nudges to get us to where we needed to be so quickly.

For others considering Greenhaven, I would say the reason I would pick them over other services out there:
      – Family-centered care, by which I mean they focused on us and where we were at, and what funeral we wanted for our dad, rather than pushing us into pre-conceived ‘packages’.
      – Respectful of our emotions and state of mind, but direct communication when decisions needed to be made.
      – Super communication across whichever medium was most appropriate – phone, SMS, email.
      – Made things simple, even though there’s many decisions to be made. It felt like they helped us make the big decisions, then gleaned our other decisions through conversation.
      – Beautifully put together memory reel of photos + took away the chance of technology issues at the venue.
      – Very reasonable pricing.

    3. Jon von Goes

My name is Jon von Goes, I’m a celebrant. Weddings mainly, but of late I’ve been doing a few funerals for Greenhaven. I like the way they go about their business. Straight up.
There is movement in the funeral business. There are new ways of conducting funerals. There is a small new breed of funeral directors who are rethinking things and making funerals more culturally relevant. Carly and Tim are a part of that new breed.
To do funerals well you need to make them all about the person who has just died. Not about other stuff that doesn’t matter. You need to get the tone right. You don’t need to bung it on too hard, nor do you want to come on too soft. And you don’t want to rip people off by selling them incredibly expensive coffins with ornate handles. You need to listen to what the people who are paying for the funeral want.
Carly and Tim get it right.
