When I first met Philip, I found him to be very caring, warm and sincere. He has a
gentle nature about him when he asked questions about what I would like at John’s
funeral and I found it easier to communicate with him. He is a good communicator
and he helped me to understand what normally happens at this stage. Thank you for
helping me with my Eulogy and providing me with a selection of poems to choose
Philip when I was in such a mess. I love your idea of arranging some of John’s film
book with flowers alongside his photograph at the service. Thank you Philip and
Picaluna for giving John a beautiful send-off especially during this Covid-19 time.

      Hello Philip,
A note to thank you for everything you did for us for Wood’s funeral. From the
minute we sat down with yourself, Maggie and Scott I realised all would be well.
When it was suggested we could have the celebration at a beach, have the coffin at
home to be able to involve the family, particularly the children to decorate it and be a
part of saying farewell. We were assisted in every way to create a real celebration of
his life even to Scott driving off to the strains of ‘take a load of…’ A very big thank
      you to all involved.
Best wishes, Susan, Sam and the family.

Philip Holland performed the funeral service of my mother, Laura, at Woronora
Memorial Park in 2006. From the beginning he was so kind and considerate and
comforting and I knew that the ceremony would be in good hands.
I am very happy to recommend Philip to anyone looking for a kind and sympathetic
celebrant to perform a funeral or indeed any life celebration.
