   reviews on gatheredhere.com.au and I have to say that we were very happy with his service. The service for my dad was different from most and Matthew was always happy to assist us with all our
   requests. We loved the way that the ceremony flowers were distributed to our female guests in individually wrapped bunches, a suggestion from Matthew, which we were very happy to accept as this was something we wanted to do for our guests. The
   complimentary tissues, the mints, the bottles of water, a welcome extra touch. I have no trouble recommending Mathew Charles over any of the larger funeral companies.

   I absolutely recommend Funerals by Matthew Charles, a small firm that gives a high quality
   personal service. Matthew Charles organised our Mother’s funeral with compassion, professionalism and efficiency.

   Matthew genuinely cares about his clients and their family and friends. He is extremely helpful and nothing is too much for him, it’s all part of the service. Matthew dealt with every aspect of our Mother’s funeral professionally and with a very caring and friendly manner.

   I cannot speak more highly of Matthew and his business.

   I am long overdue in submitting this review as I’ve found it difficult coping since January without having my beautiful, almost 93 year old, Mother in my life.

   After 9 long months today since she passed, I wish to express my very belated thanks and gratitude to Matthew and his team for giving Marie “Sylvia” Menzies the most beautiful, professional and respectful funeral anyone could imagine and wish for.

   My friends and family who attended Mum’s funeral commented that it was the nicest funeral they had ever been to.

   Seriously, there is not a day that goes by without me thinking of how compassionate and thoughtful Matthew and Pam were at a time when I needed help. I feel it’s got to be the most difficult time in one’s life to think straight and rationally and Matthew and Pam are just so highly experienced and handled every arrangement with absolutely no drama, right down to the minutest detail.

   Matthew was always available to speak with. He was very caring and kept me fully informed as arrangements progressed and was only to willing to accommodate any requests I had. He gently guided me through the days preceding the funeral, on the day itself and even the days immediately afterwards.

   Unfortunately at some stage in our life we all have to make decisions regarding funerals….believe me, allow Matthew Charles and his team to help in this difficult time and I can assure you, you will not be sorry. I truly cannot speak highly enough of the service and attention I received from Matthew Charles.

   Thank you for giving Sylvia the send-off she so deserved.
